Exchange APIs (application program interfaces) are software components generated by the exchanges, that enable communication between different applications, allowing them to work as a unit. This way, all orders sent or received will use this API to transfer data from the exchange to the platform and vice-versa.
APIs are created in the exchange's environment and consist of two hashes called API key and API secret. They provide authentication when accessing the user's exchange account on external applications like Vector.
You require access to both APIs before syncing your exchange account with Vector platforms to start trading.
