If you’re reading this, then you have probably received a rejection message when sending an order on the Vector platform.
This article explains some of the reasons an order might not get executed as expected.
How does order sending via Vector work?
Orders are created on the platform and sent to the exchange for approval before being executed. Rejection messages are issued after the creation of the order, and therefore, not by the platform.
Rejections are not necessarily uncommon or abnormal, and in most cases, they happen to prevent operations that exceed the account’s risk settings.
We have prepared a list of the main reasons that cause rejection messages to be issued in the order-sending process via Vector.

|There are no pending orders.||There are no open orders to close or cancel.|
|Sell order stop price must be below the referential price.||A sell stop order must be placed below the current market price.|
|Buy order stop price must be above referential price.||A buy stop order must be placed above the current market price.|
|Order status does not permit cancelation.||An order can only be modified/canceled on Vector after it's been effectively opened and confirmed by the exchange.|
|No connection to the trading server.||
The platform is not connecting to the routing server, and it might be an issue related to your internet connection.
